The Junk Dogs story doesn't begin in a corporate boardroom—it begins on the road and in the fabrication shop. The core of our business started when we tracked down an old, reliable flatbed truck in London, Ontario, knowing it had the perfect bones for a heavy-duty transformation. It was brought out west to the Okanagan with a singular, ambitious goal: hand-build a custom, high-capacity dump box specifically designed to conquer the toughest junk removal and demolition hauls.

Hundreds of hours were spent cutting, welding, and assembling the rig from scratch. During that build, a widespread problem became impossible to ignore: everywhere you looked, homeowners, property managers, and local businesses were drowning in clutter, completely stuck on how to safely or legally get rid of bulky items and old structures. There was a glaring gap in the market for a waste management company that offered both raw hauling muscle and absolute professionalism.

Seeing the need, the newly finished custom truck was fired up, and Junk Dogs officially hit the road. What started as a passion project to build the ultimate hauling machine has evolved into a premier destination for reliable space reclamation—now proudly serving Edmonton, St. Albert, Sherwood Park, Spruce Grove, and Stony Plain. Every job site we clear today is powered by that exact same DIY work ethic, technical precision, and drive to get the job done right.
